The gta Library combines a reference library, a periodicals library, and over 100 estate libraries of architects, landscape architects, theoreticians, and historians. In addition, it collects all author's copies based on research with archive material from the gta Archive. The stocks are indexed on Swisscovery with the allocation “ETH gta Bibliothek”. Library copies cannot be borrowed. However, photographs may be taken for personal use, photocopying and scanning of publications that are in no fragaile condition is possible.

  • In January and August, the gta Library is completely closed for inventorying, and holdings cannot be accessed at this time.

Consultation of the gta Library is free of charge. However, costs apply for digital reproductions and extensive research requests.

For teaching purposes by the faculty in the context of seminars, exercises, and similar projects, please follow our instruction sheet.

Library copies may be loaned for exhibitions. Please submit the loan request at least six months prior to the desired borrowing period.
